In the Navy, the <strong><em>Chief Petty Officer<\/em><\/strong> serves a dual role as both a technical expert and as a leader&#8211;emphasis being more on <strong>leadership<\/strong>. There is always a sense of humor that comes from this culture. For the Navy, I find the more ingenious humor typically involves a CPO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#000033\" class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Enjoy this <em><strong>Navy Friday Funny<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Soldier, a Sailor, an Airman, and a Marine got into an argument about which service was \u201cThe Best.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arguing became so heated, that they eventually ended up killing each other. Soon thereafter, they found themselves at the Pearly Gates of Heaven. There they met St. Peter and decided that only he was the ultimate source of truth and honesty. They asked him, \u201cSt. Peter, which branch of the American Armed Forces is the best.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">St. Peter instantly replied, I can&#8217;t answer that. But, I will ask God what he thinks the next time I see him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometime later the four saw St. Peter again. They reminded him of their earlier question and asked if he was able to find the answer. Suddenly, a sparkling white dove landed on St. Peter&#8217;s shoulder. In the dove&#8217;s beak was a note with glistening gold dust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">St. Peter said to the four men, \u201cYour answer from the Boss&#8230; Let&#8217;s see what He says.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">St. Peter opened the note &#8211; trumpets blared, gold dust drifted into the air, and harps played crescendos. St. Peter began to read it aloud to the four young men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MEMORANDUM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TO: SOLDIERS, SEAMEN, MARINES, AND AIRMEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FROM: GOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SUBJECT<\/strong>: Which Military Service is \u201cThe Best.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gentlemen, <em>all<\/em> the Branches of the Armed Services are honorable and noble. Each of you serves your country well and with distinction. Being a member of the American Armed Forces represents a special calling warranting special respect, tribute, and dedication.
